Gay Games Cologne 2010

Started out this journey 9:00 AM Chicago time. Arrived in remote parkiung F. Got to the lot parked by a red truck with lots of stuff inside. So I went to the spot to get on the bus to take me to the train which then unloads you at your terminal. A driver of an incoming bus was frantically waving for me to get to the side of the lot where an exiting bus was approaching. Didthat goton the bus. Greeted by a chubby bear who was quite friendly from Merkle a laser company, he on his way to Philadelphia to repair one of the company products. Just the two of us and a woman driver who chose not to entertain us with any kind of convresation.

At the airport greeted by a woman who I swear had to be Sheri's twin. She directed me to international where my luggage was 50.5lbs. The total allowed is 50ls. Got through the process easily. Discussed what would happen when arriving in Frankfort. At the inspection line I was hit upon by the guard but far too early in the morning and besides he was workng. WOW. Just to get through the line. My CPAC machine was inspected and throughly touched. Had my cell phone, watch and keys in pocket which caused the alarm to go off. All in all quite smooth through the gates.

So now the wait til the plane takes off. Excited about getting there now.

Countdown to Cologne

Wow it is finally here the 2010 Gay Games in Cologne. I intend to have a great time there. Last year at the annual meeting I got to see lots of sites in the city. Took lots of images while there. This year with over 10,000 athletes there should be lots of excitement.

Rainy Day in Chicago

Apollo awoke this morning as if he had to go outside to do his business pronto. After slowly getting it together we ventured outside. he pranced around for awhile, watered most of the spaces along the way. At one point we encountered Jeffrey who invited me to do a show with him. Might consider it. Watched his dad pull up and then it was a downpour. We ran to the house soaked.
